So I haven't done this in forever! Sorry peoples. Been busy as always. How have you all been? How's summer going? Are you all having a nice break from school? 

Things are going well for me. Life pretty much revolves around work. I'm trying to stay active in church and youth group. I'm really wanting to make sure that work does not interfere in my spiritual life. It gets kinda hard to do some of the youth activities because I get off of work so late. But it's cool. I just need to learn how to juggle things better! lol.

I'm still loving work. In fact it looks like I up for a promotion. Well kinda. It's hard to explain, but I'm up for my own room. Either the Art Room or the Game Room. I will be director of programs and activities in that room if I get it. I really want to Art Room! I've wanted it since I started there!! My chances are looking really good. Please pray that I get it! But if I don't then I know it's because God has something else planned for me. I will just have to put it in his hands and trust that he knows best!

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Even if I haven't been the best at answering them. It was so great to hear from you all. I'm so glad that all of your schooling went well and that God has brought all of you home safely. I hope that you have all grown closer to him in this last year. I know I have! Love you all! Oh, and my mom got a job at the Club too!!! She's Teen Room coordinator/club mom! lol. She loves it and I love having her there. I also love the fact that I have seniority, and that I can kick her out of my office whenever I want! lol.

Hi Everybody!

Well, I think the time has come for me to update! It has been quite a while. I've been really busy with work and what not. Sorry, I will try to keep in touch better.

So, like I said, life is very busy. I'm loving my job at the club. It's hard work, but what worth doing isn't right? It's been really awesome getting to know the kids. I remember when I first started, one of the things they told me was that I had to learn as many names as I could. Part of making the club a "positive place for kids" is that they feel excepted and one of the ways to make them feel that way is to know their names. I never thought I could do it. Now I know the names of almost all the kids that come in. They come up and hug me and tell me how thier day was. It is so awesome when a kid comes up and just confides in me, they will tell me "Cherish, I really need your advice", and it's just so great to know that I can make a difference in these kids lives. I am so glad that God gave me such a wonderful gift. It's also great to finally know what my gift is! I'm so thankful that I have been blessed with a job that lets me use that gift everyday in such a positive way! It's a great feeling!

Well, in other news, lol! I'm now attending the Visalia SDA Church and I love it. I've made some great new friends. We had our first "youth group" party on Sunday. It was very last minute, we barely decided on Tuesday night and told them at bible study. But we had a few of them show up. 3 of the guys came (Vince, Lawrence, and I don't know how to spell it, but his name sounds like Phone.). We had a great time. Played games, watched a movie, hung out. The only thing that was missing was Catch Phrase. Oh, and Luis in the background yelling "beans". lol. Good times.

Oh yeah, and I finally got to go to California Adventure! I've been wanting to go for forever! Stephanie happened to have tickets and asked Bebbi and I if we wanted to go. Of course we said yes! We ended up with 2 extra tickets when we got there though, so we found a family of about five and gave them the tickets. They were so excited, every time we saw them (which was like every line) they would say thank you! It was really nice.  We had such a good time. The Tower of Terror is the best ride ever!! I wasn't even on my seat for most of it! But anyway, it was just great to go and spend the day with Steph and Bebbi! We haven't been able to do something like that in a long time! Oh, and Cember, I'm so sorry but I didn't get to go on the Bug's Life ride. I really wanted to, but we didn't have time. We go again in a couple of weeks and I will definitely ride it then I promise.

Well, I really should get going. It's almost 2: 30 am and I have to be in Kingsburg by 8:30. I couldn't sleep so I thought "I may as well post". How is everyone doing? Good I hope. Sorry I haven't had a chance to post before, life has been kinda busy. Keeping busy with work and all. You know how it is. She works hard for the money!! lol!

Things have been going well at work. I really love working at the club. There are some days though (like last Friday) that I come home feeling like a just left a war zone! These kids really know how to test you. I had to suspend a kid for the first time on Friday. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though, just a lot of hassle. I had to phone his parents, fill out a report, let the supervisor know what was going on, find out how he gets home, deal with him when he got there and I told him that he was suspended, and work out a follow-up with myself, my supervisor and the kid! I hope I don't have to do that too often!!!! Oh well, all in a days work! At least all the teens are too afraid to talk back to me now. lol!

Well, moving away from work; The spring retreat is coming up in a couple of weeks!!! How fun, I can't wait. I don't know yet who the speaker is, but I'm sure it will be great. I can't wait to see Mark and all the others again. Hopefully we won't get snowed in though! That would be a dissaster! Could you imagine being snowed in with Mark!!! Aaahhhhh! lol, don't tell him I said that.

Well, I just thought I would post a little hello:

Hello!!!!!

 So I got a new job! Two actually. The first one (morning; I actually started them the same week) is babysitting for my aunt and uncle. They're giving me a car in exchange for it. I'm so glad that I'm FINALLY going to have a car! The second one (afternoons and evenings) is a receptionist at the Boy's and Girl's Club. I love working at the club! I put my application in all the way back in August! I've really wanted to work there for a long time now. It's an awesome job! So, as you can see, I've been pretty busy!

 Enough about work! Ummmm.....let's see. I'm going to be going to the coast for a week! I'm really looking forward to it. The longest I've ever been to the beach for was a weekend! It will be great to have a whole week free of everything! Just me and a couple of cousins and Bebbi. You know Beb and I will have a good time, we always do! lol! Look out Santa Cruz, here we come! lol!

 Ok, that's all your getting for now people! Actually, that's about the only interesting thing that's happening in my life at the present! haha! What can I say?

Well, I guess it's about time that I make a REAL post huh? Not much to post about though. Let's see........... well, I'm getting a car! I have to work for a few months for my uncle and aunt for it, but I don't care! I'd do just about anything to FINALLY be getting one! It's a white Geo Prizm. I'm not sure what year though! I'm lucky I even know that it's a Prizm, you guys know how I am with cars! lol.

I'm also going to be getting a phone (hopefully) this week! It's pretty! It is a slider phone and is a camera and MP3 player!! I figured I may as well cover all of my bases at once. I'll give all of you guys my new number when I get it! How exciting!
